Gina, Founder of The Whole Game

Hi, I'm Gina.

Founder · The Whole Game, LLC · Spring Hill, TN

I built The Whole Game because I've lived on both sides of this problem — as an HR professional who's spent years watching organizations suffer the consequences of operating without structure, and as a sports mom who has watched youth leagues struggle with those exact same issues while trying to focus on what actually matters: the kids.

The gap between those two worlds was obvious. The solution wasn't.

"Youth sports organizations are running like businesses — they just don't have the HR infrastructure to back it up. That's the gap I built this to close."

The professional side

The HR career behind the product

I'm an HR Director with years of experience managing HR operations for a multi-entity healthcare organization supporting 600–800 employees. That means employee relations, performance management, compliance, leave of absence management, recruiting, onboarding, and building scalable HR processes from the ground up — not reading about them in a textbook.

Before that, I spent two years as Marketing Director and Vice President of a youth sports football organization, overseeing branding, communications strategy, and organizational operations. That role gave me a front-row seat to what it actually takes to run a youth sports program — beyond just the games and practices.

The combination matters. I understand HR deeply, and I understand youth sports operationally. Most HR products are built by people who only know one of those things.

The personal side

Three kids. Five sports. I get it.

My family lives in youth sports. All three of my kids play, and I've been on the sidelines — and the field — for most of it.

⚽ Soccer (coaching 10U & 12U, 4 seasons) 🏈 Football (recreational + school) 📣 Cheer (5+ years, recreational + school) 🐴 English equestrian & competition 🤸 Competitive gymnastics

That's not a resume line — that's my actual life. I know what it looks like when a league has no incident process. I know what it feels like when there's no clear communication chain and a situation escalates because nobody knew who was supposed to handle it.

I've been in those parking lots. I've seen what happens when well-meaning organizations operate without the right infrastructure. And I've built the tools to fix it.

Why this product

The problem was obvious. Nobody was solving it.

Youth sports organizations are run by passionate people — coaches, volunteers, and administrators who showed up because they care about kids. They didn't sign up to navigate HR compliance, write policies, or build onboarding processes. But without those systems, even the most well-intentioned programs are exposed.

Inconsistent hiring. No documentation. Adults working with children without proper screening. Conflicts that escalate because there's no process. These aren't rare edge cases — they're common. And they're fixable.

The Whole Game gives you done-for-you HR tools that are practical, plain-language, and built specifically for the way youth sports organizations actually operate. You don't need an HR department to use them. You just need to follow the steps.
